Gaudi discovering tour

Antonio Gaudi is the most famous catalan architect. As tourism was increasing continuously since the olympic games in 1992 , Gaudis fame did the same. Today millions of travellers all around the world know of Gaudi. Barcelona is Gaudi. And the catalans are proud of their hero. The most popular place of this genial architect ist the Sagrada Familia Church. This building is still under construction. Its highly recommendable to book the tickets in advance to avoid the line. This temple is well connected by metro and you can order audio guides in your language. Realise your booking for the Sagrada Familia on the official page:

There is only one Gaudi house downtown in Barcelona. I can integrate a visit during my old town walking tour.

In this middle age building close to the cathedral you can find the Gaudi Museum. This spot is a documentation center where visitors find information, testimonials and interactive shows to understand the way of thinking of this genius.

The Park Güell is far away from the center. I do not recommend it. Its too crowdy and it takes a lot of time to go there. Limousines are not allowed to stop to pickup their clients. Anyway if you want to visit the park you can realise your reservation here:

A new Gaudi building is open to public. It is the oldest Gaudi house. The name is Casa Vicens and it is located in the Gracia neighbourhood. As soon as possible , i will pass by to get a photo. Here is the website:

Outside of Barcelona in the Colonia Güell there is an other Gaudi hotspot. The Colonia was a former industrial village. Gaudis friend and sponsor Güell gave him the mission to build the church for this workers colony. Fortunately there is no need to reserve for the Crypta Güell . Ask me to advise you to find the best way integrating this sight in your Barcelona visit. There is a train line to go there, you can order a private driver. You can do it by your own or take advantage of my accompaniment. This is the official page of the place:
